Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Goji mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by Goji ("we", "our", or "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Goji. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using Goji on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
• Keep your login credentials secure and not share them with others
• Notify us immediately at support@goji.today if you suspect unauthorized access
• Take responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

3. Description of Service

Goji is a personal finance management application that allows you to:

• Manually track income, expenses, and transactions
• Create and monitor budgets and savings goals
• View spending summaries and financial insights
• Manage bills and recurring payments

Goji is a personal financial tool, not a licensed financial advisor. The information and insights provided by the app are for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or deceptive
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or another user's account
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or interact with the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

5. Data Accuracy

Goji relies on data you manually enter. We are not responsible for inaccuracies arising from incorrect or incomplete data entry. The "Safe to Spend" calculation and all financial summaries are estimates based solely on the information you provide. Always verify important financial information with your actual bank statements.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software — are owned by Goji and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

7. Free and Premium Tiers

Goji offers a free tier with core features and a Premium tier with additional capabilities. Free tier features will always remain free and functional — we will not restrict access to core functionality without reasonable advance notice.

Premium subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time through your device's app store subscription settings. Refunds are subject to the refund policy of the applicable app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store).

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We are not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from your use of the Service or your reliance on any information provided by it.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GOJI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by using the "Delete Account" option in the app's Profile screen. Deletion is immediate and irreversible — all your data will be permanently removed.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or use the Service in a manner that causes harm to us or other users. We will provide reasonable notice where possible.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, through an in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
